Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days from the date of delivery. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a full refund, partial refund, or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned:

• Custom-made crystal potted plants and personalized crystal aromatherapy products
• Clearance sale items or items marked as “final sale”
• Products damaged due to improper use (e.g., broken crystal pots caused by accidental drops, damaged electrical components of aromatherapy diffusers from incorrect operation)

To complete your return, we require a valid receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Damaged Items & 24-Hour Claim Policy

If your crystal potted plant, crystal aromatherapy product, or packaging arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. To process your claim quickly, please provide the following information:

1. Your order number
2. Clear photos/videos of the damaged item (showing the damage details and overall product condition)
3. Photos of the original packaging (if applicable)
4. A brief description of the damage

Our team will review your claim within 12 hours and offer a solution (e.g., Full refund + cover shipping, partial refund, replacement, store credit)

Please do not return damaged items without prior contact, as this may delay the resolution process.

Shipping Returns

To initiate a return:

1. Contact us at [hello@mendedthings.com] with your order number and return reason. Our team will review your request and provide the specific return address (please do not ship items before receiving the confirmed address)
2. Ship the item to the provided address using a trackable shipping service (we recommend purchasing shipping insurance for high-value items)
3. Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility for returns due to personal reasons (e.g., change of mind, wrong size, ordered incorrectly), provided the item is not defective or damaged in shipping.
4. If the return is caused by product defects or shipping damage, we will cover the return shipping costs.

Note: We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages during return shipping. Please keep your tracking number until the return is completed.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to confirm receipt and notify you of the refund approval or rejection. If approved, your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method (credit card, PayPal, etc.).

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund after 7 business days:

1. Check your bank account or credit card statement (processing times may vary by financial institution)
2. Contact your payment provider to confirm if the refund is pending
3. If the issue persists, please contact us at [hello@mendedthings.com] with your order number and refund confirmation email.

Gifts

If the item was purchased as a gift and shipped directly to you:

• You will receive a digital gift credit for the value of the return (no physical gift certificates will be mailed to avoid international shipping delays)
• Once the returned item is received and inspected, the gift credit will be sent to your email within 24 hours
• Gift credits are valid for 6 months from the issue date and can be used for any purchase on our website

If the gift giver shipped the order to themselves first, we will process the refund directly to the gift giver’s original payment method.
